Spirituality vs Science
Deep within us all is a desire to prove the existence of the force that brought us into this reality. Few people are satisfied with the idea that creation occurred due to some cosmic accident. Many more people desire to have proof that there is a God and we are part of (it, him, her, they). Science examines the scientific laws of nature to uncover these spiritual truths and find the divine law that has brought everything into existence. While scientists search with precision instrumentation, spiritual scientists search through the technique of meditation, using the instrumentation of their attention.
Many scientists, engineers, creators report that their discoveries came as inspiration. What is inspiration other than tapping into the spiritual laws. Albert Einstein once said, “I assert that the cosmic religious experience is the strongest and the noblest driving force behind scientific research.”
So, even though these two approaches appear to be on opposite sides of the discussion. They are both seeking the answers to the same question, but in different ways. They are both here to find the hidden laws of nature, the higher power that created everything, and use their discoveries to better the lives of others.
How do these two approaches coexist for you? How do you separate the science mind from the spiritual mind?
