About us
Home of the virtual Church of Unreasonable Happiness. It isn't a real church in the traditional sense. It is a concept, a feeling, an energy that you can carry with you all day. It is your place of manifestation of love. It is also a community of like minded souls sharing and supporting others. Throughout many lifetimes advanced beings have reached levels of enlightenment unknown to most beings.
They have become teachers showing others the path to their own spiritual enlightenment and divinity. You may have had this calling, thoughts that were seeded in a prior life and only now germinating. You may just be looking for self-realization and wholeness. No matter what journey you are on we encourage you to share your story with others and be your own Church of Unreasonable Happiness
Who, what, why
The idea of ‘The Church’ began one evening when friends gathered in our Zen Den, a small, intimate space in our home dedicated to holistic exploration. Deep into the night, our friend Satyan proposed the name "The Church of Unreasonable Happiness" in response to what we were experiencing. This name ignited a creative spark within us, inspiring us to envision a place that transcended the confines of our physical space.
To expand our reach we turned to the limitless possibilities of the digital world, primarily Facebook and now, this website, to create a network that could reach you wherever you are. Initially, it was just a place for friends to gather and connect, but as more people joined, we recognized its potential to foster personal growth, celebrate human diversity, and nurture connections among individuals.
The purpose of our Church is to provide a supportive environment where individuals can explore and experience pleasure, love, and spiritual connection and expose them to new ideas. Our core beliefs are grounded in the recognition of the interconnectedness of all beings and energies, drawing inspiration from Taoism, Buddhism, contemporary thought leaders, and various spiritual practices such as Tantra and Kundalini yoga.
Since most religions have some sort of sacrament as part of their ceremonies we felt we should have our own. In our exploration of spiritual practices, we hold plant medicines sacred, using them responsibly and reverently in ceremonies designed to facilitate spiritual insights, personal healing, and self-discovery. We believe in personal autonomy and choice, respecting each individual's decisions regarding their own body while emphasizing safety and ethical guidelines for those who choose to partake.
Our Church stands firmly for inclusivity and acceptance, welcoming every individual regardless of their sexuality, gender, or personal characteristics. Discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited, and we celebrate the uniqueness of each member's journey.
To foster a sense of community, we encourage regular gatherings, discussions, workshops, and shared experiences, providing opportunities for learning, growth, and connection. Appropriate contributions and sharing of this page are encouraged. We hope that these principles resonate with you and inspire you to embark on a transformative journey with us.
Our community is built on the foundation of love, acceptance, and spiritual growth, and we believe that together, we can explore the boundless potential of human experience. Please feel free to reach out to us or fellow members if you have any questions, need guidance, or simply wish to connect. Your presence is a valuable addition to our Church, and we eagerly anticipate sharing this path of Unreasonable Happiness with you.
